BRIAN FELDMAN

Hi! My name's Brian and I'm currently a senior at Harvard University. I'm majoring in Film Studies and minoring in Computer Science.

~

I was a staff writer for The Harvard Crimson. I've written cover stories about clowns and chicken sandwiches. I've reviewed a few films and albums and I profiled some gamers. I've spoken with the former director of the NSA and cast members from The Wire and got to spend a pretty chill afternoon with Das Racist. I also nearly gave myself a concussion at one point.

~

I've also been an intern for BuzzFeed, where I made posts about crazy Internet things and managed their Tumblr account. I've covered a LARPing convention, illustrated Kanye West as best I could, and once even created a semi-popular meme. I got an exclusive interview with Vermin Supreme and asked some famous people about time travel. I came up with a really stupid idea for a children's book and tried to solve the mystery of why Drake is so mopey all the time.

~

I helped write prompts for an iOS game called Bout which people seem to like.

~

I spent two months as an intern at Bloomberg Television, where I learned that our economy is very complex.

Occasionally, I'll do some coding, either for class or, more often than not, for my own amusement. The most useful of these is a single-serving site that tells me what's for lunch. I also made this visualization of census data for one of my classes.

Oh also, here's a button you can press to hear Taylor Swift say, "This is exhausting."

All of the (admittedly grimy) code can be downloaded from GitHub.

~

I have no idea why, but if you want to get in touch, feel free to shoot me an email or yell at me as you drive past my house.
